Hawker Hurricane. Designed by Sir Sydney Camm, the Hurricane first flew in 1935. It was used during the Battle of France, Operation Dynamo and the Battle of Britain where it became known as the 'workhorse' of the RAF. As a steady and robust gun platform it was tasked to attack the invading German bombers with great effectiveness. The Hurricane continued to be produced in many variants right through to the end of the war.

A bit more formal than a standard-issue t-shirt, the ultra cotton long sleeve tee is a clear comfort winner. The sleeves also act as a nice frame. There are no side seams. The shoulders are taped for improved durability. This makes for a good fitting around the shoulders and neck.
